Gary, Steven, and ED, I was very doubtful of the wheat "stem", "clash". Thea is why I sent an SOS for a wheat over-lay. Steven came thru 100%, and the proof is in the pudding, that is, That is NOT a clash. Wrong place, wrong size, too many marks. As someone said, it xcould be a "garage Job". But it would be vetry hard to get the stem in place. If I'm not wrong, the spot where the "supposed" clash is, is also too "sunken in" to reach, without doing some damage elsewhere. Thank you gentlemen.
A bit later. Took another look at the link, and forgot that we are discussing a 1931 bust. The shoulder is not sunken in, as are the later ones. Sorry....
