22 Weak D

Ok... So tell me just how weak is a weak D? How do you tell them apart? And is the Weak D really anything I should be worried about having?

Cathy - a weak "D" on the 1922 does command a premium over the regular "D" version. Although not as mutch as no "D" die 2 and 3, you can still see prices 3 to 4 times higher for it than a similar 1922-D in their respective grades.

drwstr123 ... that only shows me that I need to photo my 22's and see what ya'll think of them. I could use the 27K.... or even 550.00

I have a full red 22 D I sent for grading. It was in my Uncle Sam iron penny bank from when I was a kid...
I hope to get that back any day.
