ever seen something like this, its the 2003 silver proof set Alabama quarter. No idea about the rim of the coin. The rim at about 12:00 is raised almost as if it slipped/tilted during the reeding.

Boy, that is something different! Is the design on the field, and devices along the rim, a reflection? You also have some MD, as well.

No its struck throgh a staple maybe, you can see it better through the scope.
