Just another edition of ..."What the heck were they doing"

I can see punching a 1393...saying oh crap... and then punching the correct date over the wrong date, but they punched the wrong date OVER THE CORRECT DATE ?????

OK, I was looking at the Rib's at the base.Indian Heat cent's are straight ant the Reed. I think it's called Snow. It looked like the Indian Head Cent's. Peru? What were they thinking? What was I thinking?

David, he threw you a curve! If you noticed just to the left of the date, the letters RE. They tell me "Republica". The LLama is also a give away, altho it wasn't in view, until later, but then it all came out! Nice coins.
