I didn't read all the hype, but I don't see anything collectable with his coin. Maybe I just can see the whatever he is yacking about?

I agree with the Hype. Was it just me, did the picture's look gray? I couldn't tell anything.

When you see a long description of what they are selling, they have to talk you out of your money, a red flag goes up for me. A DD should not be something you need to be conviced over in order for it to be collectable. By the coin, not the hype. On graded coins, buy the coin, not the plastic. So I guess the best advice is to buy the coin not what they have to convice you on before you bid on it.

Best to see the hook before you bid. It's always terrible waiting for the auction to close hoping someone out bids you when you realize your about to be reeled in.

Looking again at the image I see what he is refering to. Someone took a nickel and squashed it in a vise to leave an imprint on the head of Lincoln. You can even see where the rim made contact. I guess the error is that he doesn't know that it is a damaged coin or don't care. But its not what he would like anyone to believe. The damage is on the deeper part of the die pattern where the clash could not have occured, but where it has be pressed with another coin. Hope no one takes the bait on this coin.
