I certainly appreciate the fact you list all the shows Robert, but to me, it seems to be a bit much in this forum. 16 different posts for 16 different shows doesn't do much for me. I would prefer to see a single post that lists all the shows, and maybe a link where I could get more specific information if needed. The information source where you get the info on the shows would be easier to link to so that we can find that information. It saves you from making 100 posts a year. (although it makes your post numbers look good, it is rather repetetive and unnecessary) If you can give us a single place to go for show information rather than digging through the many many of them, I think it might work better. What do you think? You did ask for feedback.

P.S to my last post Robert....You asked folks which states they would like to see info on, but list Missouri and Oklahoma as 'givens'. Why is that? I know you live in OK and Mr Chuck in Mo..... If you and Chuck don't know where you are going....I think we're all in trouble

It would be better to list them like you say, but I don't have an on-line source. I get most (but not all) of my info from Coin World but they don't seem to have an on-line list.
So in the absence of an all-encompassing list I thought I'd try to list shows in a wide area for a while. I was hoping that by now some regulars would have appeared and I could tailor the list to meet their needs. Looks like that isn't happening. Oh well. I'll keep plugging.
The focus on MO and OK is to remind me (and perhaps Chuck) of shows where we can meet. It helps in planning things out.
I started doing this as a service to the coin hobby in general. Local shows are good for the hobby, and publicity is an important part of the success of local shows (especially smaller ones).

www.coinshows.com is a decent starting point to check for shows. There's usually not much info on the shows, and the info is all voluntary (AFAIK).

I think having a post showing the major coin shows is great. I would like to now about any out my way in Arizona.

In actuality the initial intent of this area of the forum was to make the readers aware of shows that someone from coppercoins.com would be either attenting or setting up at. It was a thing for the future, more or less. I never asked Robert to start posting information about shows nationwide, but that's where it went, and I appreciate Robert's effort in the forum. I see nothing wrong with it being used for what it has been used for. I am sure at least a few shows have been attended by someone from this forum because of Robert's energy toward posting them here.
I am sure that a number of people know the general majority of the shows in their area and when they are, but I can tell you for one I don't - I only get Numismatic News and they aren't the best about posting all show information.

Well....keep on truckin Robert! It was only a suggestion on my part, but as long as people are finding the info useful, then I am all for it. Thanks for your efforts....
