Can someone please help? I need to know how to distinguish between 1960 small and large dates as well as for the 1960-D. Also, all of the varieties of the 1982 copper and zinc,
Thanks in advance.

Grandpafirst, welcome from another grandpa, make that great- grand-pa, and in the not too distant future, great-great-grandpa! Seems, I am not the only "collector" in the faily!
ED gave you the info you seek. Welcome aboard!

Welcome Grandpafirst! You will find a lot of grandparents here. ALL proud of the granchildren. Although we like coins/things that are old, usually the youngest grandchild gives us the greatest joy. Not that we don't appreciate them all, I think we just wonder what is ahead for the newest ones and we want to help them along the way.

I think the answer is YES.

There must be large and small (high and low 7) varieties of 1970 P and D cents.

I tried asking in the other post but never got an answer but I'm thinking that since there are high over low and low over high DDOs of both P and D there probably also are the non DDO types.

Everyone focussed on 70-S because it has other differances but I bet a good search and compare might find the non DDO P and D high and low 7 varieties do exist.

Please note that many of these are carefully explained in the Red Book or either of the Looking Through Lincoln Books advertised here. Last time I looked you could get a Red Book at a really cheap price on the Walmart web site. However, to really save money you may want to check out garage/yard sales or flea markets for an older version.
