hello everyone. i hope you all had one of the best week ends ever.
i found this coin awhile back but set it aside in that really DARK place i think cause it was gone for a bit but alas it did find it's way home so here we are again.
it is a 2006D and it has some of the markings of the or i should say all of the markings of the
2006D-1DR-004 except for the left leg. the right leg doubling is there and it kind of looks like the left leg was there at one time but had been cleaned off or the die had some major work done to it. I do not have the 04 with me tonite as it is in the hands of Billy Crawford now to get attributed for his records as well as John W.so it will be on vacation for a bit so all i have to go by is the pic's on the site. ok sorry about the book here is my question. is it possible that this is the 004 but a different die state.? my 004 is a MDS so could this coin be a EDS? ok sorry again here are the pic's.
thanks all
Gary
here is the 004 so you dont have to go to the other page

Gary: The length of the bar is different and no markings on the knees. I would say it is a different die. Another good find!

I agree with Coop. The length of the bar is different, and in a different longitudinal position. Definitely a different die.

I can live with that. the knee don't show well because it is not as prominent as the 004. is this one listable or is it just a keeper?

Looks very close Gary. Bob will have to make the call on this one. There aren't that many yet for the 2006-D Series, so that might swing his thought.

I would list this one on the site Gary. It meets the criteria for the doubled columns, and as Coop stated, there aren't many for the date and mintmark.

Gary,
I'm not up to date on the newer coin's or any for that matter. I think it a good find and a even better find if it got listted. Congrat's.
