Found this one and it looks to have a shift in the date and doubling on the 7th column and statue.
What do you think. worth hanging onto????

Steven,

That looks like a nice shift on the 00.
Look close at the TY, the other 06-Ps with that much shift on the date also showed on TY. Is TY wide or notched?

Smile

Ed,
Nothing else on the obverse. LIBERTY looks normal. When I saw the date appeared to have a shift in it that was the first thing I went to. I searched the site and didn't see anything like it so I started looking for markers and all I could come up with was the minor doubling on the column and statue.

I would save it till your sure. It's only one Cent, you might never see that coin again if you toss it into circulation.

Steven, I would save it,. Two reasons, one you might find a spot for it, and Coop says you might never see that coin again, if you put it back into circulation! Can you imagine the odds against doing just that? Just place it into that box that has the big "?" mark on it!

Steven, You're kidding! That is the kind to have. That way you have a "sure thing", tho it may not be very worthwhile, but a "sure thing"! AND, it don't take a dozen boxes to find one, either.

Hang onto it by all means and compare it to 1DO-007 and 1DO-010.

Steven,

If it's #10 you should see a notch in the top curl of the 2.

If it's #7 you should see a notch in the Y of liberty.
