Just curious as to why there is only one DDR listed for 2002P's. Is it because the bars found on 6th or 7th columns aren't strong enough?
Just wondering.

You haven't found them yet.
I did find one 2002-D Reverse that was very nice....

There have not been many 2002D coins submitted. Those that have been have generally been very minor. It seems as though the Mints had very good quality control that year. Coops find makes it worth searching the date as it is an extrememly nice find

I found a 200P today with a vertical bar on the 7th column. It extends from the hand of the statue to a little below the pedestal. No extra knees. It's not massive but you don't have to squint to see it either. Its about as strong as a lot of others I see listed from other years. For some reason I thought I had found a couple of other 2002's but when I looked thru my finds there weren't any. This was my first. When I'm able, I'll post a pic. Like I said, its nothing great but my first 2002.

If the bar is as strong as you suggest Rock, it would be worth putting on the site, whether or not is shows extra knees.

Maybe. I'll post a pic in a few days. After my new scope arrives. If after you see it and think its worth a listing, I'll send it in.

Rock, I'll wait 'til you get your new scope, and then if I like the results, I'll pack a lunch, and "amble over your way", so I won't eat you out of house, and home when I get there! Then I'll ask you if I can use it! ( Sniff, sniff, mine doesn't have a camera attachment)!

(Laughing out loud) You are most welcome any time. I would love to have the company of a fellow varietist (is that a word?). It would be cool if everyone could get together for a weekend and have a big search party. Then tally up the finds, make trades. Loads of fun.

Rock, that would be a very nice thing to actually do, but I have a hunch you'll fiind teeth in a hens beak, before that happens. It would be fun, tho! Lets make it 10/31/2025. Why then? It would be a hellava way to celebrate the 100th birthday! And I plan to be here when it happens.
