Steven, from what I see, you have to have eyes of an Eagle, Nerves of steel, and the determination of a member of the COPPERCOINS.COM Forum!!! Good luck, I'll be waiting to see how it comes out.

Still digging it out of the board. Looks like it may have a few errors. Still can make out the date though.

You can't see the date because it's a '22 plain!

I believe the wait will be well worth the time it takes! Excellent work, Steven! That is the last place I would look for any "small change"!

It's still a work in progress getting the thing dug out of the board but I can see the date now. coop, I don't think the detail is going to be as good as old VDB himself has done. Laughing Laughing I think he might have had more than a pocket knife to work with.
Great looking coin coop.

Steven, that takes a lot of meticulous work. You're very good at it. But when you're through would you mind giving us a close up so we can look for doubling and also for grading purposes? Smile

Steven, are the areas at 10, and 4, on the edge of the coin, "struck-thru " spots?

How large is it? Looks very good to me. I would probably used a router and it would have been just a hole in the board. But you've done GREAT work. Something to be proud of. Probably bring a fortune on ebay. Make a case of it and sell them...

Oh no coop,
If I get this one done it will be the first and last. I didn't realize the time and blisters that would result and there is a long way to go.
Here is a size comparison.
