It's not a discovery of mine, but Billy Crawford was nice enough to share it with me and I took photos of it and added it to the site. Before you get an idea to ask, don't...I have no idea how this could have happened, but after examining the coin I cannot write it off as not being a doubled die. It's pretty obvious under the scope that it's there.
I guess the moral of this story is that the newer coins deserve a look too. To be honest, the only thing I have ever looked for in 2000 series cents has been the 2000 P Wide AM. But now, I am definitely going to have a look at the new stuff too. Thanks for putting those pics on the site Chuck. Now I know what to look for. _________________ Bob Piazza
