Just a few words on CONECA, Copercoins and NCADD. I am a member of all three and I will continue to be for hopefully a long time.

You may ask why when it seems that all three organizations are basically the same. The answer is fairly simple. While all three have a commmon goal, educatuion of the numismatic world concerning errors and varieties, each does it in a different manner.

As Bob pointed out, Coppercoins is directed towards the Lincoln cent variety collector, while NCADD is very similar in this goal, they however also include other denominations. CONECA also includes other variety denominations and deals with error coins, something neither of the other two sites do. So you see, all three are different in how they acheive their goals.

There are, of course, other differences and each site has it weak parts and also strong parts and to say which organization is better would be shear folly.

It is up to the individual why he or she wants to join a certain organization, where it be CONECA, Coppercoins or NCADD or, like in my case, all three. It is all in what you are searching for and the knowledge that you seek.

Although I am new here (as a verified member),
I have been coming to coppercoins sense last year,
for the photos, and great references.
I also go to CONECA to view the master listing
of RPMs & DDs (mainly for nickels, dimes & quarters),
and the superb updates on errors.
This is the first I've heard of NCADD.
I'll have to check them out as well.

Bj, I'm two out of three. NCADD, not yet. I'm not into that area as much as I was in CONECA, so two, may be the whole ball of wax. Keep you anchor handy, the "windy season is "gittin' closer"!

I just rejoined CONECA after being gone for 3 years. I havnt decided if im going to join NCADD again but just may after all the help Brian Ribar gave me in my hunt for 1960d rpm #11 which i do believe i found finally or at least got it narrowed down to a few dif dies. CONECA would def not list that die if it was submitted today. But the hub had a great aricle on finding it i prob will give NCADD another shot to
