Nope. Looks like a gas bubble. I've seen them all the way from pin-point, to long raised ridges.

Its strange I didn't think of that. If anyone knows about gas, it's me. Laughing

Looks like a gas bubble on his head.

Notice his chest.... he needs a 3 breasted bra or something. Do you see that? Maybe something going on there like high knees?

But it seems like something that might only show because of lighting and high magnification. What do you think?

I definitely agree that it is most likely a gas bubble. On some of these, you can push on the bubble with something like a green thorn or something like that to verify that is probably what you have.

Are you suggesting I try to pop Lincoln's bubble? Interesting thought. Never tried that before. Lincoln looks like he's wearing 3 sets of clothes too.

Pretty funny about popping Lincoln's bubble Laughing Actually, you'll be surprised how some of these gas bubbles change the look of the devices. One good way of determining if it is a bubble is to use something relatively sharp, but soft to press down on the anomaly. I have found that green thorns work great for this. Either way, be gently as they could scratch the coin.
