Dick - those dents are circulation damage and have nothing to do with die changes. If the reverse die was changed, would you see the doubling?

BJ, I finally found the answer to my question! I had to re-read the whole series of posts, to discover that there are TWO COINS involved. I thought it was only one. Now everything makes sense. I guess it would be pretty strange, that one would conceivably find the same coin, after it had "been around a bit", and be able to see the changes it had gone thru.My dad taught me to ask questions, and sometimes I get carried away, but when, or until I get, or find the answer, I can be quite persistant!. Hope I didn't offend anyone!

Okay, I now can see the mistake, you thought that it was the same coin being photographed. One thing to remember, a coin does not change die states; it stays the same through it whole life, however, its condition does change.

BJ, It makes a lot more sense, now.
Now for the results of the 1982D1MM-
001=3,*
002=1,*
003=2,
004=14,
005=1,*
006=2,
010-1.
The * were much more difficult, but I managed!
