Its from the seller that I bought one through. Mine isn't the pole mount. I don't know if that is better or worse than the fixed scope. Mine is a bi-nocular and this one is a tri-nocular. I just use one I peice to get the best image through the eye piece. (The Right one, as my right eye is stronger than the left eye.) Using the eyepiece to focus, I close the left eye and adjust till I see the field very clearly. I don't focus on the tops of letters/numbers or devices, except for the bust, then you have to. But if the coin has die flow in the fields, I use that to be the focal point. Works for me.

Looks good, except I think that the third "eye" is not a necessity. I shoot from both eye pieces (which ever has the better light angle) and the pictures come out OK.

The zoom range is great, 7.5 to 35 X is all you need.

If you can afford it, go for it. It makes all the difference in the world on searching coins.

Make sure that the camera and equipment you have or plan to use are compatible. The 3rd eye is just for your camera set up, and will let you veiw the object (coin) on the monitor.

Thank's everyone for your reply's. I came home today and Computer had died........I'm using my wife's laptop but it won't last long doing that. Anyway thank's for the input look's like I'm going to be down for a while. Happy Hunting Guy's.

Thank's Dick, I'm pretty sure it's the hard drive. I've swapped my C drive to my D Drive and booted up that way. I ran a disk to diagnose the problem and I have "Several" sector's on the hard drive that are corrupt. I will take the hard drive out and try to salvage what I can by transferring the files to a disk(someone else will have to do that) I thank you for the opportunity to try to fix it buy I beleive it's gone.

yup...bad sectors = dead hard drive. Good luck trying to get any information off of it...a good rule of thumb is backup all of your important files to a removable media (dvd-rw is what i suggest to minimize the amount of disks laying around) every couple of months if not earlier than that. I know it sucks and is time consuming but it can be a lifesaver.

David, if you can get it to boot, run "scan disk". Maybe you can get it running again. If possible , image your HDD, and/or burn a DVD-RW. But by all means figure on a replacement, just in case! good luck!

I thought my old computer (An "ME") was quiting. I had a modum problem. So I bought a new computer a HP Windows "Vista." I setup the new compter and found it had the same exact problem. Called the phone company and he setup a switch of the wires in the phone line. Fixed the problem. So I now realize my old computer had nothing wrong with. With the Windows "Vista" You have to forget all you know about earlier formats, as everything is totally different. The "Thing" runs 5 times slower than ME. I found an accelator program for my server and guess what? I'm finally up to the speed I had before on my older computer. Learning why they have hidden there goodies on this system. Its a try and find what you want system that is over done on security. You are constantly asked for permission to do simple tasks. LiKe when I sign off, I get about 4 screens to verify that is what I want to do and a screen to close that session of closing. I'm sure one Day I will find out what to push to get what I want, but that time isn't here..........yet/still. Still looking with my padded suit. You know the ones that have the sleeves that tie in the back...

I never had XP and I've learned more from those usuers who also scout out the computer to get it to do what we need. They learn, I learn, and somtimes I even get an answer to a question about what I'm trying to do. I've decided to grin and bear it, and give my old computer to my grandson. I've always looked forward to have a flat screen, but the older ones have a lot better detail. The new computer is so commercial. On the games they give you a one chance option to play the games they they want to sell you the full program. Everyway you look they want money for service for this or that. Just going to have to get used to the new program as everyone one else will be heading down the road after the XP computers are obsolite. First time I've had a current system in years. So wait till they get all the bugs before you move on to the "Vista" program. I'm still attemping to figure this out.

well if yall need any help just post your problems and i would be more than happy to attempt to diagnose your computer issues. Coop, i agree that Vista is quite overbearing coming from "ME" but i must say that Windows Millennium was by far the WORST operating system ever made by Microshaft. I personally use XP Pro for the time being due to the fact that Vista is just not stable enough nor does it have enough driver support for alot of hardware. XP will not become obselete for MANY MANY years in my opinion....you were still using "ME" and that program is like 8 years old. My point is if you guys need any help i am willing to try...computer programming is not my career but its a second hobby (coins being first!!)
