I was very fortunate to tag along with my wife this past weekend. It was a "great" trip. I don't know who here on the Forum has had a chance to visit so I thought I would post picture's for your enjoyment.

This is a bad picture. It's the 1972 Aluminum Penny.

Some great photos David.
Hope you don't mind, I did a bit of crop and color change to one. Might make a good avatar for someone.

Stephen: Looks nice. But the size of an avatar is 125 X 125 pixels. Pretty small and looses a lot of detail that small.
Great pictures David. Great choice to post.

David, thanks for the tour of Washington, D.C. My only duty was on the east coast in '43/44, in Jacksonvill, Fla., and then I went west, and very far west! All the way from San Diego to Bankok; Phillipines to Japan, and all the rocks in between!
BTW, you make a nice looking couple.
Dick

Thank's Ed for correcting me. I saw many coin's while I was at the Smithsonion Institute. As you can tell the picture wasn't clear. Perhap's one day I will post more picture's of coin's that were there.
