Those remind me of some of the AZ thunder, and lightning storms we have there. It usually is when it is so hot, and dry you can't "spit", that one of these comes along. Good time to be INSIDE!

Very impressive pictures. I guess I take lightning for granted since I live in the 'lightning capital of the U.S. Very nicely done.

What I thought was neat is the circle of lightening in picture one by nohea. Never saw that before.
