I picked up a shoe box of coins from my mother's house and this was in it. I don't know where it came from. I thought the relative prices, especially the 1914 D and S lincolns, were interesting. By the way, nothing special in the box, just a handful of well worn morgans, walking liberties, and franklins.

I need a time machine Wink

For only $3.25 they could get:

1 1856 flying eagle made of nickel for $1.00
1 1856 flying eagle made of copper for $1.50
1 1877 indian cent for $0.25
1 1914-d lincoln for $0.50

This would come in handy for retirement.

I've never heard of a copper flying eagle hmmm but for just $1 might as well get one and see what it is Rolling Eyes

Notice there was no premium for those common things like 1909-s indians, they're just a cent!!!

They didn't seem to list 1909-s vdb cents at all but for just 10 cents maybe if they got a bunch of 1909-s there might be an s-vdb.

Some of those early large cents might be nice in a type set.....

Ed, if you find that "time machine", let me know, and I'll pay the expenses, just to get to go with you, and get a couple for my retirement. I'm sure I could improve my "standard of living"! I'm not griping, after all not everybody gets paid to "stay the hell" out of the workplace!
