2000 Lincoln cent error premium?

Does the date 2000 and after Lincoln mint errors carry a premium over the earlier dates? I have read that the mint has really tightened up on their quality control since 1999.
I purchaed an interesting error; A 2001 lincoln Flip over coin graded MS65RD by ANACS. It has the off center obverse on both sides of the coin and each side shows the full date. Any idea of the value?

As for values of errors I can't help much, I stick to the die varieties. One thing I can offer is that I developed Rich Schemmer's website as well as Mintnews.com and have had some mild exposure to the crowd that leads the market in the errors, and I did indeed hear something to the effect that the errors of the more modern coins are much more scarce than older errors.

Nope, the premium kicks in at 2002. Still probably a nice coin, but 2002 version would be worth a lot more (atleast it is this way with off centers)

that came out around 2000-2002? There were several unique Sacajawea/quarter mules etc. I thought then and I think now that those were "hand made" by someone at the mint.

It seems to me that there are too many "one of a kind" errors and they seemed to occur only once each. Also note the Mint's recent crackdowns on such activities, resulting in "honest" errors being harder to find.

My point it, I don't buy that those coins are "normal", "honest" errors but they are somehow the product of a Mint employee with a little too much time on his hands and not enough supervision. Conventional wisdom is that, like Chuck said, a "cent" planchet can't pass through the machinery set up for dime production. At least, not without a little conscious help.

I've been wrong before but this is my opinion.

I just don't buy it.
