I was just discussing die cracks in the Lincoln series with another collector and brought up this example that I have. Thought I would share it here. This is a nice unusual die crack for this series. Aside from the common skull cracks and bustline cracks, these type do not appear commonly. I also will throw in a nice and different ubber cool example of a high grade IIB error.

John, that is a real beauty. One of these days we ought to get a series of cracks going to see just how "out of hand", they can be. I have a whole slew of spikes, and "cracked-heads", among others. I have always pulled the cracks. I think they are "cool", if an old fart may use the expression!
