What do you think of coins like these? Do you think the fact that they are also errors takes away from the variety value?

Not to take away from error collecting but if I find a nice variety I like it in the highest grade most perfect condition I can afford. But others could say this would be even more rare then thr variety.
I saw that listing some time ago, Joe, I recall that a 1999 went for $495 last month on Ebay. Curious price so far. Maybe it will jump at the last minute. I have to confess I dont see the "broadstrike" on these coins. Arent broadstruck coins struck out of collar? They all seem to exhibit more spread than these do.
See if this image helps. They are struck without a collar or partially still in a collar making varying degrees of size of the diameter affected. The larger the broadstrike the more valuable they are. _________________ Richard S. Cooper
