I found this today and it appears to be the CONECA RPM#009 D/D South Top 100.
My question is with the decription given by CONECA as a D/D South and what I see this one looks to be D/D/D South and East. There is a secondary serif south of the primary MMs N/W serif along with the upper curve inside. There is a stronger secondary bottom curve from the S/W serif to the south of the primary MM. Also what I see is an outer curve inside the primary MM. Now the difference from the description as D/D I have pointed out with an arrow where the upper curve inside the primary MM laps over the secondary outer curve inside the primary MM.
I think I may have confused myself with this description but I hope someone else can understand what I mean to go along with the photos.

Hi Steven - I beleive that I can see what you are refering to, however, in hand examination is the only way to confirm that extra feature that you see.

Now a reason why this maybe happening. Looking at that particular CONECA file, I see that it was made using a MDS coin and that particular feature may have been deleted by that time due to die wear. Your coin may be an EDS coin with sharper features.

We all know that die wear does change the appearance of the coin struck, at times adding features whiile also erasing them. The attributer makes those calls on what he sees on the coin that he is observing.

I would recommend sending it to either Bob, Chuck or Dr. Wiles to confirm the additional mint mark.
