I found this coin thinking it was the 1984P-1DO-002, if it is it is a EDS than listed here. Looking at it closer I found a Die Clash or a Broken Die on the reverse. I don't know that much about die clashes so I posted a couple of picture's.

1DO-002 has the doubling in the hair and base of the bust and LIBERTY. If it has that you will see it.

I do think the coin is a doubled die. Mostly from looking at the 9.

It looks a lot like 1DO-004. It might be a different state from the one listed. I have one and it doesn't have the same reverse markers but yours might be a later state.

Ed,

There isn't any doubling around the bust or hair line. The 9 does appear to have doubling but I think it is a EDS than listed here.(I hope my terminology is right)

I'm not sure what I have, if anything. Thank's Ed.

Sounds like 1DO-004.
I say definitely a DDO, just not #2.
#3 is similar but the 1 shows the doubling and the 9 has what looks like a crack (so I think that rules #3 out) but #4 looks like yours.

The other thing you might see on #4 is there's a slight ridge (high area) along the rim through the top of IN GOD WE TRUST (from die wear) and the lower part of the U of trust is thick and a small dot below the S. Does it have that?
Can you get a pic of TRUST?

David, you may need to get a more straight on photo of the date as you did on the reverse photos for a clear look for any doubling.

Ed, Steven,

Here are 3 more picture's. I really didn't expect it to be a RPM. I was wondering about the die clash or broken die on the reverse. This could be a pleasant surprise since this is a good looking coin. Thank's

David

Could be one not listed. Just doesn't look quite the same but closest to 4 I would say as well.

Funny...
#4 has the ridge on the obv and #3 has the crack on the 9 so if it was either of those yours would need to be an earlier state (of obv die) but #3 and #4 don't have that mark (or whatever it is) on the reverse so the only way it could be #3 or #4 is if the reverse die was swapped. They could have swapped out this damaged reverse die (with one without that mark) then the obverse with it could have got the ridge like #4 or crack on 9 like #3 so it still could possibly be #3 or #4. Make sense?

I think it's a DDO from the sep line on the 9.
Might be another unlisted one.

Let's see what others say.

Ed,
The coin's I have are all Choice to BU. The 2 roll's I have checked, the Majority have line's all over the Obverse and Reverse. It is close to a EDS if not actually one.

Thank you 2 for your expertise advice on this one. Like I said I didn't consider this to be anything. This is another picture but I think you 2 have clarified what it might be.

David

A lot of times the high ridge line on the numbers receives stacking rub or some other type of rub that, in the right light, looks like separation lines. I'm not convinced that this is a doubled die without being able to see the notch in the bottom of the 9 - if it's there. None of the images provided are lit correctly to see this feature, if it's there.

Well, I have taken at least 50 picture's closeup and no luck. I am leaning toward's CD's therory of the ridge looking like a split. If there is notching on the bottom of the 9 it is minor. I will send it to either Bob or CD look at. Thank's for the input everyone again.
