About six months ago, just after Christmas, I began assembling lincoln sets for family members, searching countless fifty dollar bags for the best examples of 1982 thru today. I ran up on the DDR listed in Numismatic News, I believe, but have yet to send one for grading. The Numismatic News story on Mr Daughtry's find is here:

The comment I want to make regards lesser examples of this coin, which I put aside out of curiosity alone- the T in Liberty had a scant croosmember, and it seemed that it could have only occured during a strike which obscured the true width of the lettering. That would be a misstrike, and so I supposed it to be a double strike, but did not have confirmation until now. So I would regard the T width as a marker of sorts, so what say the rest of y'all?
Egads how many Folgers cans of pennies have I returned?!!!!!
I know for sure I chucked the bad ones. Oh well. And if I ever get a camera worth a flip...
And for the people who just wanna bet on a cheap roll (I have mine to open later)...thank you very much...

Strike doubling is not a marker.
The reason is markers are specific to a die or die in a certain state.
Strike doubling is specific only to your coin.
The other coins from that die may not (or may) have strike doubling or different strike doubling.
Look for the listed markers for that variety and see if it has them. Do you see them on your coin?

As yet, none of mine are this type, unfortunately. The more I read, the more I find how new to this hobby I really am compared to the vets here. Thanks EA Games!!

It must not be an easy variety to find. For one nobody found it for 25 years!
I had been saving 82 SD zinc cents (and all 7 types of 82 cents) for a long time and I had 5 unc rolls of SD zinc from different sources and over a roll that was put together (au-unc from change). When I saw the new DDR listing I eagerly searched and found nothing but it was still fun to look for it.
I still plan to look at the SD coppers just in case it could exist on coppers.
