An EBAY based dealer whose specialty is OBW rolls informed me yesterday that his source for 1987-D rolls is dry.
He is a long-time dealer since 2001, with over 3500 positive feedback, and he did say he spent 2000 dollars on rolls he bought.
For the life of us, we couldnt arrive at a concensus on where these wholesalers get their stuff, and with the kabillions of pennies being minted, one might expect more clean cents at the banks, but hey, I don't see them. Do y'all?
The most I've ever seen was last Christmas at Target, and I pulled three rolls with DDR #9.
Buying from him means you have More Sense Than Cents.
My penny bag is being sorted, how bout everyone else. This is so much fun, thinking we will get a step up on Lincoln populations JUST BEFORE the rush in late 2008.

In respomse to Notabot's comment, are we "go", on the search? I have not heard much, because I have not been on to , to any great extent. Too many items on the "Honey-do" list!

I started in on my bag yesterday...Let me know if you want approximations of condition. The culls are the easiest, as they are a cinch to pluck out and list. Here's an Idea...we all guess the rarest, but the winner gets to keep the au-bu's from the other searchers. That's an inducement, but the only one who sees our results are you. You do the tabulations.
Whadda ya think?
A CONTEST!!!
I pick 1988...
