found this in a roll while looking through box for the cent prodject. it think it got realy hot it is hollow lol or almost hollow anyway

Kind of looks like a hershey's kiss wrapper. I figure all Cents with a gouge through the plating will eventually turn into to that.

no gouge at all Coop. it has been burned and i think got so hot that the Zinc either disappeared or oosed out no telling

If it's severely underweight, then someone probably created a gap in the copper plating on the edge and immersed the coin in hydrochloric acid. The acid will dissolve the zinc while leaving the copper intact. Then you've got a nice shell, which often ends up flattened.

it's not flat at all in fact it is thicker than it should be. weight is 2.4 Grams so it may all be there just feels empty. the reverse is puffed up like a doughnut jelly of course and the obverse is sunken in like someone sucked the jelly out. man now i want a doughnut a jelly doughnut

Don't tell anybody, but I don't either. I don't remember when I last had a beer. It has been years. It is not good to have alcohol with the various medications that I have to take. I imagine the same thing in your case
