I dont understand the quesiton. Are you asking whether or not we believe that the seller does not actually have the coin, and is trying to scam somone of their money, or whether or not the variety truly exists?

I would not touch it with a 30 foot pole
James Wiles just does not de-list a variety on a whim, he does so with good cause. In this case, after reading what he has said, I agree with his assessment.

Oh.... it also could have been another variety.
This one that had the supposed S that looked like a horn on the D and it was listed as a D/D/S.
I never saw this one called OMM-1 like the one in the ebay listing, it was always called WOMM-1 (From John Wexlers listings) and is not the same as OMM-1.
1956-d/d/s WOMM-001
Anyone know if it was also delisted?
I remember in the past people said that in some states it showed most of the S but I don't see it listed.
Seems like some of the OMMs are vanishing

Kinda looks to be D/D/S on this 1956D/S but the repunching of the D may be to minor to take into consideration for listing that way.

The one Steven and the one Coop listed are both 1M-002 RPM-12 WOMM-001 right?

Mostly correct. The listing on coppercoins is 1956D-1OM-002 and RPM # 12. Bob's post with the listing shows that they are the same. The difference on Stephen's coin and mine is different die states. His doesn't show the strong scratches that my coin shows. His may be earlier or later than mine. Just didn't look that closely to see.
ADDED: His is earlier than my coin. appears to be MDS, mine LDS from what I can see. The VLDS is the one that show the whole S. With the OM-001 debunked, I'm not so sure on this one either. But till then it will remain as part of my collection. The OM-001 remains as a memorbillia coin now that it's been debunked.
