Don't know nothing bout these things... is doubling on Morgans common, is there more of a premium if doubled, in short does anyone give a hoot if they are doubled? Reason I'm asking is I did see one on Ken Potters page ummm 1900 I think. Anyway just wondering

Daggit, in answer to you questions: It may be common on some, but I am not a Morgan collector. I have a couple, and they are not doubled, or MAD's, ( Miss-Aligned Die). Yes, there are some very nice premiums, on them, depending on several factors. Condition, strike and the general run of bag marks, etc, whether circulated, and in which condition, from AG, to BU, or proof. I refer you to Garylcsr@aol.com, (among others) for several links to the larger coins: 2-bits, 4-bits, and dollars. I thought you were referring to his, (Ken's) book, but that page does not give any info re the Morgans. could ba a different book.

Hi Dick thanks for the reply... I was referring to the web site...the other day he had a Morgan doubled die on there and now I can't find where it was Anyway thank you.

Daggit, I believe you are referring to CONECA. Yes, there is a large gallery of photos there. There is a world of info on the site. I am a member of that forum, and others, as well.
