Just an interesting side note to this survey. I have gone through about 2000 Lincoln cents so far and have gotten a few new "trail" dies. What really got me was the two 1972P-1DO-002s that I got from the same box. It has been ages since I found one of those doubled dies and now two in one box????
Also a 1998, TYPE II and an unidentified 1985-D RPM (just haven't looked it up).

Nice going, BJ! I hope we all have similar results, ( not necessarily the identical), but comparible, so as to make it more interesting. We get to keep what we find, which is nice. They will also be "statistics, as well. I would be "practicing, but I have been very busy, with "home Improvements", and that includes plumbing repairs, and/or peplacements of parts of the system, siding, and skirting replacement, painting, etc. But for sure when CD says, "GO", I'll drop what ever is still pending, and do what we volunteered for. Then when that is "history", return to what needs finishing, if anything. By the way, something else.......A cow chew a "CUD", but I doubt she would chew on this one:

this by way of Coop.

The project is on...get your coins and start sorting!!
Numismatic News printed a story about the project in this week's edition, and I have had no fewer than 20 volunteers per day since. At this rate we will pass 200 by the end of this week, and I was thinking that's about the number I will need to make the count successful.
