What causes these circular lines?

Lathe marks that were deeper than the hubbing. They happen often on the Obverse on the bust, but rarer on the reverses.


Extra value? More of a conversation piece that I know of.

I kept this one just because of the lathe marks. I wouldn't expect a premium. I can always get my money back though.....$0.01 Smile
