Then it is a lamination defect cause by impurities in th alloy mix.

Well I would differ. I would say die crack/break. Not the line on the die crack? It is not straight. On a lamenation, it follows the shape of the debris/object material seperating. On this coin you couldn't removed the area that appears to be falling off. The mark en-circleing the die break is raised and not a raising area to sepearate. FWIS
