I was at a Civil War show with my son and got a copy of the Civil War Courier, a trade paper that discusses historical events and reenactments. There is a big story about the burial of the Hunley crew coming up soon. Anyway there was an ad for a civil war site

If you look at the inventory under Tokens there is a nice list of civil war tokens for sale. Also if you look under currency you will see a list of civil was currency and a few coins. All with pictures. The link to the paper is:

I've gone and done it...I bid on a couple of CWTs and am starting to catch the fever.
Knowing how I usually handle things, I will have over a hundred of them by the close of the year. I really like them but have always seen them as too expensive to collect. Well, they still are, but they also aren't getting any cheaper as time goes on.

I know, Im really impressed with the ones Bret Palser has on Rick Snow's website. The colors on some are amazing. I just cant bring myself to paying $80, $100 or more for one. I just copy some of the really nice ones into my virtual collection on my computer.
