Sandra, My Guru told me when Vista first came out, to avoid it for at least a year. Too many bugs. There are about 9 versions, so it can be a big headache. I run XP, and have the QX3, so it will run ok.

Hi Dick, yes it came with this system I've got and I don't like it. Had XP on the last one I was running and had no problems. Since I got this my computer freezes consistantly and is a real pain, I'm getting a friends disc today to load XP Wink

Sandra, that is the way I would go. If you had another computer, then you can put the the HD's in there, and use a files transfer technique to move into the new (larger) HD, and take all your settings. etc with you XP has this capacity. Then if you want to go to the new unit, the omly thing will be getting "MOVED IN". That in essence will be the recognition of all the peripherals, etc. Time consuming, but worth the effort. "Happy New Year"!
