Greetings to all.I am new here and learning about the cent errors.I have a few coins I need help with and this is the place to possibly get answers to my questions.Thank you all for your help. This is a 1913d cent in vf+/ef condition found today and the N in One appears to be cut off at the top. Also the tops are a little higher(extra metal) than the rest of the letter. Also has a line like a die crack going from the two horizontal lines of the letter N.Anyone have thoughts on this coin.I also posted a couple the other day and have not gotten any responses.Noone has any thoughts on them???

Ken, Hi! I would suggest you use a smaller size, (say 300x300), photo for posting.
The only thing I can imagine occurring there, is that the coin took a "hit" against the tops of the "N", and drove the metal, (all copper, being a wheat), into the ends, causing a slight increase in thickness. Other than this (damage?), I see nothing but a wheat cent.
Dick

Hi Dick,Thank you for your thoughts on this coin.I have another I just came across and I'll post it.I did see my pics were coming in abit large.I was thinking the larger image would make it easier to see.I'll reduce them.Thank you,Ken

I agree with Dick's assessment of this coin. Nothing unusual except for the damage. I also agree with his suggestion of user somewhat smaller images. It is difficult to key in on the errors you mention while having to move the picture.
