1919s Spiked Head

What would this be.Definitely a "Spike "coming out of his head.Cause?Also has 2 cuds 2:00 and 4:00 with rr rim on reverse.I had already scanned this as it is large.I will reduce pics in the future.

Looks like some sort of die gouge on the head. The term 'Spiked Head" was given to those coins that had a die crack emanating from the head and going out to the rim. This would not be considered a spiked head.
I am not sure if the anomaly between K2:00 and K4:00 is a cud or not. A cud should be a raised clump of metal where a portion of the die has broken off and therefore not struck. This looks like some sort of damage.
Might I suggest a smaller size picture Ken? these large ones are memory intensive and difficult to navigate around to find what it is you are mentioning...OK??

Bob, would a cud still have a straight rim, in the CUD area? I see a straight rim, (just barely), and the area in view "could" be sunken, and the other side, I don't note anything, Yet

Dick,
A cud would not necessarily have anything to do with the shape of the rim. Since the cud forms when a piece of the die breaks off, the rim would be normal except that there would be a clump of metal there. On the other hand, a straight rim might be the result of a clip.

Good morning guys!!Thank you for all your help with this coin.Reverse rim in cud question area is normal except it has rr rim in that area.I could post a pic of the reverse if you want.The rim is slightly raised in that area on obverse,but has been worn down with the wear on the coin.As seen in the scan that area is shinyier than the rest of the rim.
