SMED, I stay logged in, because I can't keep up with the cock-eyed passwords! Like I told Chuck, I can write them down on a piece of paper, and then lose the darn paper! the forum seems to be back in shape, again. I could use the search area, but couldn't get the forum to open. It said, down below that the forum was locked, so I figured Chuck was doing a bit of maint. & upkeep.

I've been having a minor problem lately. Smilelies don't work and the last few days the noticiation of new posts on the screen missing. I just started looking for the dates on the posts to figure out what is new on the forum.

Coop, this could be weather related. You know where the server is located. Yes, checking the date helps. I only have had slow opening, or at times, no opening, but when I clicked on the title, it opens .

Nothing has changed on the forum, not even the version. Whatever is not working for anyone would have to be an issue with software or settings stored on each individual computer.
Smed - Your issue with staying logged in may have something to do with your cookies setting, since that's what is used to keep you logged in. You might want to check into that.
I know that every time I clean out my computer and delete the cookies I have to log back in, but I check the 'keep me logged in' button and it works until the next time I delete cookies.

I agree. Every time I have had problems, it is usually cleared by deleteing the cookies. I clear all the history, and have to do a bit of 'hunting, but everything comes back, ok It also helps to defrah about once a week.
