Personally, I am intrigued enough about the level of quality on the individual proof Dollars to order-in multiples as well. I also think everyone who orders across every purchase option will be richly rewarded, as I am almost certain the W dollar in the five piece set is gonna have it's own reason for purchase. As well, the collector folders are PERFECT for gifts, the individual holder for the dollars are very well executed, and it is all very beautifully presented by the mint. Even coming after Christmas, these purchase options are all bargains-to-be, and scarcity in the making with a five per-order limit. And in three years, when the 22.00 dollar uncirculated set is selling for over 100 (less than a 1.5 million sales mark or so now), everyone who has hopped on the bandwagon will be riding high.
I received the mailing from the mint today, and even it is suitable for framing...that's how pretty the pamphlet ITSELF is, and worth collecting for historical reasons.
Kudos to the mint, keep up the good work.
I am now also fond of the Spouse coins, because, well, we are not the fairer sex, let's face it. And seeing the beauty of these gals for the first time is really pleasurable. Imagine, if you will, when Mrs Kennedy is released. Then EVERYONE will want even the least picturesque of the renditions of the gals. That makes this series a sure-fired winner, in gold, bronze, or any other metal. I wish they made a silver, because it lends, for contrast reasons, to portraiture.

The US Mint has offered a look at the new dollars, according to USA Today.
It also lays out the release dates as well.

These designs make the current president look....well...presidential.
The renderings on the coins reminds us that men used to only live to 35 or so. Makes me long for the good old days, when leadership at the presidential level was a given.

Notabot, I agree 1000% with what you say:
Those who would sacrifice liberty for security deserver neither. i AGREE, AND STATE:
TOO MANY HAVE GIVEN UP TOO MUCH FOR THE FEW WHO WOULD MAKE SUCH A SACRIFICE!
Sorry about the caps. I don't see them until I look up to check, and proof-read. My vision is not "up to par".

There is a well polished Portrait on the Philly John Quincy Adams, so much it looks like the Eagle reverse proof. It is MOST essential to err on the side of free speech, to protect the coin collecting community from despotism and undue censorship. Those who espouse a position of muting speech are traitors.
