My mother gave me a small sack of coins from my grandmother. I believe they were from a trip to Las Vegas and were supposed to be silver eagles. They were all wrapped up in kleenex and when I unwrapped them, they were all darkly toned. One of the wrapped coins turned out to be a morgan dollar! It was a 1900 O and looking online at VAMs ( I am not an expert at all and own only a few morgan dollars), I saw that it looked like one of the O/CC varieties. The coin is somewhat worn so the markers are hard to see, but I think it is a VAM-12, my first VAM and my first O mint coin!
Here are pictures of the bow and wing area shown on the VAMWORLD site. The coin is well worn, so it is hard to make out the die crack on the bun and the 00 on the date is filled with crud so I can't tell if they are doubled.
