WELCOME. Hey stop pulling those out of circulation or I'll never find them. Here in the Chicago area the P or D mint coins vary pending the time of day I suspect. Sometimes all are D and other times all are P. Must be the center of the country location or we are just a dumping ground for what ever no one else wants. Usually by the time we get coins they are so beat no one even knows if there was an AM on them.

Welcome Josh!

Hey I've seen some of the wide 99 and close 92 on ebay lately from a seller called something like "shing pumps", is that you? Just asking since there are not many people finding the close AM 92s.

My theory is that most errors are P mint coins because when they make dies they probably inspect the ones being shipped to D better than ones kept in P plus the D mint might do some incoming inspection that catches some stuff. Maybe it's like a cook, the guests get the perfect stuff and the less perfect stuff the cook eats.

I have searched tons and tons of west coast D mint coins and found much less than I ever find when I get rolls from the east coast so it seems there's less good stuff here in the west. If that's not true then Coop must be searching all the coins here before I get em Wink

Pretty much duds here in Phoenix Cents. I only got a box of 2007-D one time last year. Hope 2008-D is better here than the 2007-D were. When I want to search a good box, I try to go to a small rural towns and buy them there. I find better stuff when I go out of town.

Coop, look at them, fighting over the "good stuff", while we don't even get to SEE any! I winder, do the coins from PHX come to CA? Or maybe it is vice-versa? You got one box of 2007's. I had trouble getting boxes that were not brand-spanking new! One of the 2007-D, I I got, went to Canada, not, all, but a few, in ecxchange for equal number of Canadian 2007 BU.

Wow Josh!

I saw your listings on those and watched them. The first close AM 92-D (MS64 you sent to NGC) was amazing and I watched that auction. I guess the fact that nobody except you is finding these proves you are doing something right or you are in the right location. Keep it up!

Welcome Josh. You must live near the east coast? Finding Philly coins here is next to impossible.

Yes, I live in the southeast. I hear it's tough to find them on the west coast.

Where at in the SE? I'm located in NW Georgia.
