Hello to all,Came across this today and almost all the letters in igwt have extended lines on them.Like "HORNS".Also a die crack or line around portions of the rim starting with the last t in trust going around to the beginning of the bust. There's also a line coming from the bars in we. Can anyone enlighten me as to what this is.I've read in other threads, maybe die deteration, ejection doubling, ect.Thank you for all your comments.Hope the pics show it.

Maybe the metal flow from the center towards the rim made those lines going to the rim.

It seems to be die deterioration. As the die enters the later stages of it's life, the sharp edges on the lettering will wear producing those 'lines' toward the rim.

Ken,
The MM look's to be a combination of Die Deteriation and MD. Hard to tell.

I agree. It doesn't look like an RPM, but it is difficult to tell with the photo supplied. Maybe you can give us a close-up of the MM and Date area??

Still looks normal from that image. It has a lot of blur to it. Are you taking your images with a scope or a loupe? If you are using a scope, focus on the field next to what you are trying to post. That way the field and anomoly with look in focus. It you taking images with a loupe, it might take many shots to get what you really want to show. Arrows are also a good aid. But I'm guessing you are looking at the area above the mint mark. It doesn't appear to be a RPM. But maybe we are missing what your showing. A clearer shot might help.

Is the coin in a flip?
You will get a better pic without the flip.
