BJ, good point! And with Crude, or what ever it is going to $106.00/BBL, guess what else is going to happen. All those big, comfortable vehicles that use lots of gas are going to be "turned in" for cheaper, higher milage/gal cars. remember 1973/ Gas was being hidden away from the public eyes so make sure it would go sky high. I remember having to buy gas to get back from Las Vegas, and only being allowed 5 gallons. That meant Looking for two more gas stations, to get home! And the price was much cheaper than today. It is going to get worse.

So much focus has been on gold but silver is up even more than gold is. At $20 oz that junk silver is less junky Wink

Regardless of what someone says something is worth, try to sell that something to see what it is really worth. If Silver is at $20/ounce just where can you sell it for that?

Maybe the reason is that silver is still a bit under $20 plus US coins that are 90% like dollars people think of as "one oz silver" but they're less than 1 oz so in reality they pay less and most big dealers take a big cut so in the end people get less than expected. Recently at coin shops I see more people selling silver and gold than buying coins.

What are dealers paying for $1 face in 90% silver?

You might get more by selling to collectors.

I don't know what fealers are paying for 90%, or lower, but I have seen the people come in and sell it, and leave with a smile on their face. The real question is not what it is selling for, more like: How much is it going to COST you to buy?
