This 1990d quarter was just a little strange to me, I realize because of the date
it wouldn't be worth much as it is not very dramatic . Just wanted to know if you see anything?
Now this 1988d quarter was a bit more strange as both "8"'s have the same defects... there are other possible points on this coin, but had to show you this.

The 90D quarter is machine doubling, and the 1988 nickel (erm, not a quarter) has what is known as die deterioration doubling. This is caused by way overusing the die on the press. Since nickel is the hardest metal we use in our coins, the dies wear out quite a bit faster than with other denominations. _________________ C. D. Daughtrey
