well kudos to my wife for getting the shots that i cant seem to get. i found this in a roll a while back but have never been able to get any good shots of it. bear in mind these arent the greatest shots and the coin in hand is ALOT easier to decipher and the elements are very distinct. show me some of your big clashes(like that sweet triple clash Bob showed us the other day)

original pic

enhanced pic the black arrow points to the "Y" in liberty, the green arrows point to the back of the head/back of jacket, the red arrows point to some part of the front of jacket & beard/chin area, and the blue arrows just point out a nice die crack

Any clash marks on the ovberse? They usually do have them unless they match up a new die to them.

i didnt see any clashes on the obverse and i looked pretty hard at it, and for the record this is a 1983-p, i SWEAR 1983 has to be one of the worst years for lincoln cents, sooooo many die cracks, clashes and of course the sweet double dies for the year

aballein, we walk in the same shoes. I have a lot of clashes, but not a single "jailhouse" type.I guess I haven't lived long enough yet!

Well, I found my 'stash' of clashed dies, and have included a few more examples here for your enjoyment. I have been collecting these things for years.

I have been reading here that a few of you have never found any 'Prisoner Cents'. I am fortunate to have quite a few of them, some really nice, and others not so nice, and tons of other clashes. If you are interested in having one of these for your collection, please email me, and I will see what I can come up with for you. The only cost will be that you send me a self addressed stamped envelope to cover the postage costs. Sound like a deal?? Meanwhile....enjoy a few more from the Piazza Collection Laughing

OK Carol,
Here is a pic that's a little bit larger that you requested.

I actually have prisoner cents that date back to the 60's. 1972,1983, 1984, and 1995 have some very nice prisoner cents, but I have seen them for almost all the memorial years to one extent or another.
