Looks like a mutiple answer. The date looks like die wear or a possible break between the 1 & 9. On the second image looks like coin wear or damage from another source. The edges of the letters next to the rim seem to be the most affected by die wear which usually for die flow/die wear in this areas of coins on later die states.
Image number three: I'm in the dark as to what you are pointing at. I forgot my flash light. LOL

Anytime a circulated Buffalo nickel has a date left on it, its a good day! Nice coin!

Is that a Philly issue? or is there a mintmark?

Nice lettering but no mintmark. Would that make a difference in value? I also have one of those that you cannot see the date. Sad

This sure is one heck of a beautiful coin design though. When the mint stopped producing these beauties and went the dead president route, we all lost.
Here is a nice early Type 1 Buff with a nice die clash to boot. My favorite in my Buff collection. Sorry in advance for the off color on the reverse, it is toned the same as the obverse -I can't find my better reverse pic.

Very Nice....Did you buy that? Or have you had it hoarded away?

I love those 1913 Type 1. I want to get one with some color but have not found the right one yet.

I see a beauty like that, and then look in my change, and see the latest effort by the mint, and want to vomit!!!

This one is in an old PCGS 66 rattler holder.
I have it hoarded away and purchased it in the mid 80's
