Does any one use a scanner to post images?
If so, any information would be appreciated

I sometimes use a scanner on coins that are larger than a nickel for full image shots. I set the DPT from 300 to 600 to get better clarity and adjust the size of the cropped image to 600-800 pixels. That works best for the site and usually show what I want others to see. If you are trying micro shots, you will need something with magnification for that.
