Hi All,
Found this today also amongst my silver. What does the grade of this look like to ya'll??? I know you cannot read some of the smaller letters, heck it's 110 years old!
Thanks, Teryble

Teri, I give it G-8. It, like me has seen a lot better days! (Of course it is better than the one I have). Mine is AG, at best.

Hi Tery,I think this will go a little higher than vg8.As described in pcgs' "Coin Grading and Counterfeit Detection" this is a copy of it for fine and vg.
Read the requirements and go from there.I'd have to say at least vg10 if not a full f12 maybe. The top leaves on your coin are pretty clear and there is quite a bit of detail on the Eagle still.

Ken, thank you for postong those tid-bits from PCGS. I haven't seen any more specifis, and the text is VERY good (for me). I am able to read it w/o any help!
In view of the above, make mt 'guess a VF-12. I like that better that the first guess. I have a better basis of grade chioces, now.
