i AM REALLY BUMMED ABOUT THE MINTS DECISION TO CHANGE THE REVERSE OF OUR BELOVED MEMORIAL.OHHHH THE HUMANITY! POOR WAVEY! AM I NOT ALONE IN MY OPINION THAT THE LINCOLN MEMORIAL REVERSE IS THE MOST AESTHETICALLY BEAUTIFUL, DETAILED AND SOPHISTICATED REVERSE IN ALL AMERICAN COINAGE?NOT TO MENTION THE EXCITEMENT I FELT THE FIRST TIME I SAW ABE INSIDE THERE.I ONLY LIKE TO LOOK AT LOG CABINS ON MY SYRUP THANK YOU!!

I like the memorial too, but I live about 40 mins. from his "birthplace" in Hodgenville KY so I wouldn't mind seeing the cabin. Very Happy

Carol, some of my first memories were of the nice log cabin syrup CAN, sitting on the table, and "MOM" pouring it on my french toast!

On the bright side...

Did you ever think "if only I could go back in time to a bank in 1958 and get lots of wheat rolls to search forever"

Well now is your chance to hoard the memorial rolls for the future.

I'm saving anything that's in nice red unc condition.

OCD, I hear you! I used to return the cents that I had checked, but the way copper is going, (along with the precious metals), it is a good idea. I have a 5-gal bucket full, but there are some memorials, that should come out. I'll do that, The second tuesday of next week!
