Chris: Welcome aboard coppercoins.com. I had saved one that I believe is a 1997-P Phantom Cent. The mintmark D is very light and without arrows on it, you can barely see it only at the right angle with the light just so can you see them. I found it with a loupe a few years ago. This is the first time I've tried to get an image of one. See if this is what you are looking for?

Hi Chris. Look on page 281 of my book. If you don't happen to have my book, let me know and I'll refine the photos for web viewing (resize them) and post them here. It's a bit late for that tonight, so I'll get to it tomorrow if you still need to see them. The 1999 photo actually came out pretty good. Actually it's the only photo I've ever seen of a 1999 phantom D cent.
