Hey guys!
There is a new hurricane around, FRANCES!!! The hurricane is very, very, very bad news for me, because its trajectory is headed right over were I live!! Anyways, if the news about Frances are about the same tomorrow, I will begin all the proparations for the hurricane, and I will be taking my coin collection to a local bank for safe-keeping.
I really hate when the hurricane season is at is peak.

Looks like a category 4! I think people will take this one more seriously than they did Charley.
My prediction... it turns north before hitting S. Florida.
Look out Jacksonville!

Fantastic photo. It does not look like a very safe place to be this weekend.

Yesterday was a hectic day. My uncle, a couple of friends of his and me went house to house of everyone we knew to put their shutters. We went through 4 houses, which took us 12 hrs.
My house was the only one without shutters, and we had to put the plywood pannels, which made it much more difficult.
Hurricane Frances appears to have weaken to a category 3 storm, but it could still head my way. About 75% of all homes over here have panels or shutters, it all looks very wearry.
Everything from the backyard is inside the house, and its hard to move around the house without kicking a plant, or without bumping into a patio chair.
Ok then, Frances we are ready. BRING IT ON!!

Gabe,
My best wishes to you for your safety and to everyone else in it's path. I really hope the storm does no damage at all.

Hope y'all are doing ok down there. The latest track has it passing about 150 miles east of Pensacola, but in a greatly deflated condition. We'll probably just get a bunch of rain.
